Brennan Merrick, a longtime Newtown Baseball player and teammate, tragically passed away at his home on November 8th. Newtown Baseball mourns his loss and extends its condolences to his parents, Wendy and Brian, and his surviving siblings. Contributions in his honor can be made to:

Newtown Babe Ruth Wants You!
NBR League is looking for volunteers for a variety of positions. Please contact Bob Elias to volunteer. If you would like to manage or be an assistant coach, you should contact the appropriate Division Director (they can be found on the 'Contact Us' link on the left side menu above) and also register as a coach during during your child's on-line registration session. If you can’t help on the field, there are many ways you can help “off the field”. Newtown Babe Ruth depends on the goodwill and support of people like you.

League monthly meetings are held every first Tuesday of the month at Edmund Town Hall 8:00 during the baseball season, 7:30 off season. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
