Newtown’s New Ninety Foot Baseball Field at Fairfield Hills

 

Directions from 84 East or West. 

Take exit 11.  At the end of the ramp turn left onto Wasserman’s way (A.K.A. Mile Hill). 

Continue on Wasserman’s Way until the first light.  Make a left at this light onto Trades Lane. 

 Continue straight thru the stop sign.  The field is at the very end of this road. 

 

Directions from route 25.

Traveling north on 25 make a right onto Mill Hill road and continue on Mill Hill until the first light. 

Make a left at this light onto Trades Lane.  Continue straight thru the stop sign.  The field is at the

very end of this road.  Traveling south on 25 make a left onto Mill Hill road and continue on

Mill Hill until first light.  Make a right at this light onto Trades Lane.  Continue straight thru the stop sign. 

The field is at the very end of this road

 

Parking-

There is parking on the left side of Trades Lane starting just past the soccer field. 

There is additional parking off First Street which is the first right turn after the stop sign on Trades Lane. 

The parking is immediately on the right in front of the building.  If this area is full make a left at the end of

 First Street, there is parking on the right side of the road.

 

Entrance to the field-

There will be a pedestrian access through the construction site to the field at the end of Trades lane.   

 

If you wish to use Map Quest for directions use the following destination and reverse the turn at the

 light at Trades lane, i.e. if you are instructed to turn right onto Trades Lane, turn left instead, if instructed

to turn left, turn right.  The baseball field is located on the Old Fairfield Hills Hospital property which is

directly across the street from the Reed school.
